Project Statement - 

In this project I want to show the moments that happen in flushing, with a combination of candid and posed shots. Some of these pictures can raise questions that can be related to the object in the frame and their surrounding environment. To also demonstrate a relation between the people that live in flushing and some of their daily activities. Even though it is a very commercial community during the day and night, it also has tranquil and serene moments.

At this color exercise we can see different color corrections from different points of views. As you can see the original picture was taken on a cloudy day and the the picture in general looked grayish and bluish. At my correction you can see that I had raise the bright and contrast as same as the curves and levels. I also sharpen the image since the begining making it look a little sharpern.

Light Assignment

Light can manipulate a picture because it adds a sense of emotion or feeling to the overall image. 

Abstractions

Abstraction is the creation of compositions that include lines, shapes, colors, that can portrait a certain unknown image to the naked eye, but in reality portrait something, either an object or a paint etc. Sometimes even showing emotions and feelings etc...

Blurr

Foreground picture of flowers. Took this picture because the color of these flowers caught my attention and a P.C. Richard's was right in the background.

This is the picture that is symetrical, really like the metal of the phone booth but had to take it from a low angle looking up, because otherwise my reflection will appear in the metal and in the picture.

This picture is my favorite because it focuses on a hand and its veins showing aging.

This picture is one of my favorites because it is mostly blurry expect on the bottom left corner. It's a little hard to tell that it is a pack of gum, but what I like the most is the depth of field of the object.

My goals for this class are to obtain more skills on capturing better images of people and capturing their emotions. and learning how to frame a picture better.
